In an environmental program that my school was participating, we planned with the children to write down what we consume for lunch(our main meal in Greece) for 10 days. We wrote down all products in 2 columns, one with the products produced by their family and one that they bought at the local store. I had provided the relevant pictures, so that all children were placing the products in the columns referred for ten days. After that, we counted the foods of each column for every child and we produced the diagram below.
The numbers under the chart are the children, the numbers at the right side are the foods they consume. So we found the most autonomous family: the family of child number 1, and the most dependable one: the family number 7. The blue color represents the family production and the red color the purchased one.
